Lakeeta
March 10th 1996 - March 14th 2012
My dear horse you will be so missed! I got you when I was 12, I trained you and we were the best of friends. I remember the all the rides up on magpie hill, racing up and down duke lane, team penning, riding you bareback in shorts and no shoes, trying to catch you in the field, Dad having to rope you to catch you, you seeing me and coming right to see me, your nicker when you would see other horses, you constantly playing with your bit, the green slim you would make by playing with your bit, you always sliming my back when I wasn't looking, racing(we never won), you were so patient with all the random things I did with you, you were so good to Sesaly, you had 3 beautiful colts and 1 filly, always having to lead never wanting to follow, standing so still while the girls brushed you, the spot you loved rubbed on your bum, being so patient with the 3 different vets you had to go to, how bad your leg would hurt the older you got, I wouldn't even have to touch my legs to you I could just click with my mouth and we would be off, never wanting to follow the path and making your own trail thru the sage brush, doing just about anything I would ask you to do, your crazy mane that never would lay down all the way, your cute pink nose, riding through the sprinklers. I missed riding you so much after your got navicular, so you became Sesaly's horse. I always knew just how you would react to any situation. I knew how scary mail boxes, cows and sheep could be. I never got to swim you like I always wanted to, I thought I would have more time with you so I didn't get to pamper you like I would of liked. I wish I could of done more for you. I have such good memories with you and will never forget how great of a horse you truly were. I love you!

I am sorry Whitney. Our pets become part of the family.
